With a few days left until the midterm review, remember to be thorough, precise as well as curious, skeptical and playful in researching your themes and presenting your findings. Look for oblique, interesting, overlooked and beautiful aspects that could and should be lifted from the material. And where appropriate, do not forget to make use of the analog/digital tools introduced throughout the third year.

The ability of Malcolm Gladwell to "mine current academic research for insights, theories, direction, or inspiration." as exemplified in his multiple articles and books may be of inspiration. As might be the work of Jared Diamond, in particular his book Guns, Germs and Steel.

A schedule for the midterm review will follow shortly.
